Test Fire Goes Well On South Monroe Mountain

FISHLAKE NATIONAL FOREST, Utah-Per a report from the official Twitter account of Utah Fire Info, a controlled burn on the Fishlake National Forest went well Friday.

On Thursday, after a successful burn removed 100 acres of dead trees, the success continued on Friday.

Friday’s blaze saw 50-100 acres of dead vegetation scorched on the South Monroe Mountain section, which contributes to the restoration of the ecosystem on the Fishlake National Forest.
