(Syracuse, UT) — A 16-year-old is facing charges after a fire at a Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints meetinghouse in Davis County. Firefighters were called to the meetinghouse in Syracuse early Saturday morning. Investigators said the interior of the building suffered extensive damage due to the fire and the water used to put it out. They also found signs of vandalism inside the meetinghouse. The 16-year-old was arrested Saturday afternoon. His identity was not released due to his age.
