(Cedar City/St. George, UT) — Southern Utah and Utah Tech universities are inviting women from across Southern Utah to attend a series aimed at inspiring women to take on leadership roles in their communities and beyond. The Urgency of Women’s Leadership series begins this evening with a reception from 6 to 8 p.m. at Utah Tech. It will include a presentation by Barbara Annis, a leading expert on gender intelligence. That will be followed by an interactive panel discussion with Annis and other experts. The second event will be on Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. on the Tech campus, featuring panel discussions, interactive audience conversations, and stories presented by speakers.
