(Cedar City, UT)  –  A suspect is pleading not guilty in a Cedar City home invasion and attempted murder case.  Ismael Lopez’s lawyer presented his client’s plea in court yesterday.  Lopez faces several charges for allegedly breaking into the home of a former girlfriend and stabbing that woman’s mother multiple times last November.  The victim survived her injuries.  Lopez is being held on a 250-thousand dollar cash bond in the Iron County jail and is set to go to trial early this summer. Â
