The Utah Highway Patrol and the Department of Public Safety are urging drivers to stay alert after a suspect fired shots at several vehicles traveling on Interstate 15 between Nephi and Scipio early during the morning of Nov. 30.

Four cars were shot and two people suffered non-life-threatening injuries during the incident around 3:15 a.m. Witnesses described the suspect’s vehicle as a light colored SUV, it was last seen driving southbound on I-15.

The whereabouts of the shooter is currently unknown and anyone who sees any suspicious activity or has any information about the shooting is urged to call the UHP at (801)887-3800.
