A dangerous criminal is behind bars and drugs were seized after surveillance by multiple law enforcement agencies yields arrest.

According to a report from the Millard County Sheriff’s Office, the Central Utah Narcotics Task Force, Utah County Narcotics Detectives and the Millard County Sheriff’s Office conducted surveillance in order to catch Coby Wayne Barney, who had been hiding from authorities.

The report states that Barney is “a known dangerous criminal.” He was arrested in Utah County and booked into jail there. During the arrest officers seized a shipment of methamphetamine and heroin.

Barney was arrested on charges of possession with intent to distribute a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and violation of probation or parole.
