Sufco is doing its part to try and help stop the spread of the coronavirus.

In a statement from Wayne Squire, Sufco’s driector of human resources, it was shared that they are following government guidelines by following the flattening the curve and social distancing directives.

It was said in the statement that “we are demonstrating this action by taking some precautionary measures to keep the community, the employees, and the mine safe during these challenging times. Those measures include varying our transportation schedules to and from the mine, along with alternative parking locations.”

According to Squire, normal operations are still ongoing at Sufco Mine.
