(Cedar City, UT) — A study by a Utah-based analytics firm shows mental health among college students declined because of virtual schooling. Students at Southern Utah University have told campus officials they want more mental health facilities and have agreed to pay 44-dollars a year to open a new health clinic this fall. The study from Qualtrics surveyed one-thousand students nationwide and found more than one-third of those surveyed say they’ve experienced discrimination at their school and almost two-thirds say the health resources they have on campus are limited.
