Students At BYU Etch Book Of Mormon Onto Microchip

(Provo, UT) — Students at Brigham Young University contend they have now produced the smallest-ever replica of the Book of Mormon. The students in the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department etched the replica on a computer microchip wafer measuring four-inches in diameter. A copy of the wafer will be displayed at the campus engineering building. The professor that oversaw the project says the replica could survive for millions of years as long as the wafer doesn’t sustain any damage.
