State Snowpack Jumps As More Storms Approach

(Park City, UT) — Utah’s snowpack has gone from horrible to hopeful in just a few days. Thanks to recent storms, the state’s average snowpack jumped from 57-percent of its median to 74-percent in just one week. Little Cottonwood Canyon went from 58-percent to 110-percent. A couple of low-pressure systems are expected to collide over the next few days. A mix of rain and snow are forecast to hit parts of the state today and tomorrow.
