(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah House members are advancing a bill to create a State Park at the Little Sahara sand dunes at Sand Mountain. It would be Utah’s first wilderness area on state-managed lands. The bill names the proposed nine-thousand acre area in honor of the late Utah Congressman Bill Orton who died in an ATV accident.
