State House Passes Transgender School Sports Bill

(Salt Lake City, UT) — A bill that would form a commission to determine if transgender students can play school sports has passed the Utah House. The commission would be appointed by lawmakers and would need a doctor, a university-level athletic trainer, a coach, and a sports physiologist. There are four student-athletes that have played school sports so far after changing their birth certificate and taking hormone treatment.
