(Salt Lake City, UT) — An actor who rose to fame playing Luke Skywalker is asking Utah voters to support an independent candidate for Senate. Mark Hamill appeared alongside Evan McMullin last night during a virtual event for campaign workers. Hamill criticized Republican Senator Mike Lee, saying he belongs to a party of extremists. He also criticized those who claim the 2020 presidential election was stolen and said all Americans should work to find common ground.
