SR 24 was closed down yesterday due to the Monroe Canyon Fire. In a post to their Facebook page the Utah Department of Transportation shared, “fire in the vicinity of Koosharem reservoir has reached a fire management trigger point and Hwy 24 from junction 62 north to the junction at 19 is now closed.” In an update posted this morning it was shared that the road “is now open to local traffic only. Alternating local traffic will be lead via pilot vehicle between SR-119 and SR-62. (Glenwood to Burrville)”
