On Sep. 29 a small wildfire broke out on Cove Mountain. As of the evening of Sep. 29, the Lookout fire has burned approximately half of an acre.

The fire is estimated to be contained by 6:00 p.m. on Sep. 30. The fire is believed to be human caused but is still under investigation.
