(Orem, UT) — Political activist and media personality Charlie Kirk has been shot at a Turning Point rally at Utah Valley University near Provo. Video posted on social media appears to show Kirk being shot in the neck. It happened during a Q-and-A with students. The university said the shot was fired from a nearby building. Other footage shows a large crowd scattering at the outdoor event. A suspect is reportedly in custody. On Truth Social, President Trump said we must all pray for Kirk and called him a great guy from top to bottom. California Governor Gavin Newsom, who had Kirk on his podcast earlier this year, called the shooting “disgusting, vile and reprehensible.”
