(Ogden, UT) — Republican Senator Mitt Romney doesn’t believe Senator Mike Lee did anything illegal after Lee assisted Former President Donald Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election. Last week, a news report showed that Lee and former Chief of Staff Mark Meadows exchanged text messages prior to the certification of the results. Lee even recommended that the White House work with controversial attorneys Sidney Powell and John Eastman. When asked by reporters yesterday, Senator Romney explained that from what he had seen, Lee had not done anything illegal, but left it for Lee to explain further.
