SCOTUS Declines To Hear Case Seeking To Overturn Bump Stock Ban

(Washington, DC) — The United State Supreme Court will not take up a case filed by a Utah gun rights supporter seeking to overturn a nationwide ban on bump stocks. The court announced yesterday that it was declining to hear two cases filed by Clark Aposhian, the chairman of the Utah Shooting Sports Council. Aposhian had challenged the ban as government overreach, saying the ATF should not be able to outlaw bump stocks. He claimed that Congress should be the only branch of the government to create such a ban.
