UPDATE: Rangel has been found safe in Richfield. The Salina City Police thanked the public for their help.

A teenager from Salina is considered a missing runaway after leaving home Friday morning.

According to a post by the Salina City Police department 17-year-old Scarlett Rangel ran away from home around 11 AM Friday, August 21.

Rangel works at Arby’s in Richfield and could still be in the Richfield or Sevier County area. The post also states she could be in the Spanish Fork area.

Rangel was last seen wearing blue jeans, black tank top and is carrying a red and blue backpack.

The police have asked if you see her to contact Public Safety Dispatch at 435-896-6471.
