The Salina City Police Department is warning residence to lock their vehicles. In a post to their Facebook page they stated that “there have been several vehicles stolen in the North Sevier area recently.” They shared that all of those vehicles were returned to their owners and a suspect was caught and booked into the Utah County Jail.

The post then states that “because of recent legislative changes allowing people to be released from jail with little or no bail, the suspect has been released.” They then remind individuals to keep their vehicles locked and ask them not to leave their keys in their vehicles. The post ends by the department asking everyone to please report any suspicious people or situations.
