(Salt Lake City, UT) — Senator Mitt Romney says President Biden should have granted a pardon for former President Trump on charges of mishandling classified documents. In addition, Romney says Biden should have told prosecutors in New York to drop the charges in Trump’s current hush money trial. Romney also criticized congressional Republicans who have come to the Manhattan courthouse to support Trump, saying it’s “a little demeaning” to show up at a trial involving “an allegation of paying a porn star. ” Romney who is not running for re-election, was among seven Republican senators who voted to convict Trump in his second impeachment.
