Rocky Mountain Power Offers Donation Program To Help Struggling Customers

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Rocky Mountain Power is giving customers a way to help lower-income families stay warm this winter. The company’s Lend a Hand Program works with the Salvation Army to help pay electricity bills for eligible recipients. Customers can donate as little as one dollar a month, which is added directly to their monthly bills. For every two-dollars donated by customers, the utility will contribute another dollar, up to a maximum match of 120-thousand dollars. The program raised over 240-thousand-dollars last year.
