(Salt Lake City, UT) — A bill that defines road rage in Utah is one step closer to reaching the House floor. The House Law Enforcement and Criminal Justice Committee gave the measure unanimous approval Friday. In Utah, a road rage event would be the commission of a criminal offense by either the driver or a passenger in a vehicle where there is intent to endanger or intimidate another driver. The bill also raises the criminal penalties for road rage.
