Some Utahns will have a detour this morning. In a post to their twitter page this morning the Utah Highway Patrol announced U.S. 89 will be closed from SR-6 at the Thistle Junction and as far south as Fairview at least through the morning due to flooding. Individuals are being encouraged to use alternate routes and we will update you when the road re-opens.
