On Mar. 19, at around 9:40 p.m., Richfield City police were dispatched to Sevier Valley Hospital because a gun shot victim had been brought in by a private party. Upon arrival, officers found a 14 year old boy from Richfield had been allegedly accidentally shot in the upper chest by a 9mm hand gun.

This case is actively being investigated at this time and the victim is expected to fully recover from his injury.
