A Richfield resident was arrested for suspicion of DUI of a controlled substance after being pulled over due to a burned out tail light.
Cameron Holdaway, age 33 from Richfield, was pulled over for a dead tail light on September 17 around 8:30 p.m. by a Sevier County Deputy. The deputy reported that upon approaching and speaking with Holdaway he could smell the odor of marijuana.
After Verifying Holdaway’s information the deputy asked Holdaway if he had a medical marijuana card to which he said that he didn’t.
According to Sevier County police after Holdaway showed several signs of impairment, he was arrested for suspicion of DUI of a controlled substance.
During the impound of the vehicle a bag of marijuana and some paraphernalia was found.
Holdaway was booked in to the Sevier County Jail on charges of stop lamps required, no driver’s license in possession, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of Marijuana.
