(Draper, UT) — A Republican making a primary challenge against Burgess Owens says the one-term congressman is avoiding debates. Fourth Congressional District candidate Jake Hunsaker spoke to reporters outside of the congressman’s campaign headquarters in Draper yesterday. He said that Owens is refusing to debate him and accused the state Republican Party of supporting Owens’ position. The Owens campaign issued a statement dismissing Hunsaker’s accusations.
