(Salt Lake City, UT) — Utah Representative Chris Stewart is planning to resign from Congress. That’s according to a new report from The Salt Lake Tribute, which says his resignation could come as early as this week. Stewart was first elected into the U.S. House of Representatives in 2012 and won his sixth re-election campaign last year. If he does resign mid-term, a special election will be held to find his replacement. Stewart has not confirmed the news.
