(Salt Lake City, UT) — While not being approved by Governor Cox, the psilocybin program will go into effect on May first. The program allows doctors at the University of Utah Health and Intermountain to prescribe Magic Mushrooms and MDMA to patients struggling with mental health. This comes as studies show there are positive effects for people with depression. The pilot program will last three years.
