(Provo, UT) — Utah County prosecutors rested their case in the high-profile double-murder trial of Jerrod Baum. Investigators say Baum stabbed Riley Powell and Breezy Otteson to death in December 2017 before he threw their bodies down a mine shaft outside of Eureka. The suspect’s former girlfriend, Morgan Henderson, testified that Baum forced her to watch the murders. The defense has begun calling their witnesses.
