MURRAY, Utah (AP) — A 16-year-old boy has been arrested in Utah, accused by police of fatally stabbing a woman at an apartment complex in a Salt Lake City suburb. The Murray Police Department said officers were called to the complex around 6 p.m. Thursday and found 34-year-old Melissa Wood stabbed multiple times. Police said the boy, whose name wasn’t released, was booked into juvenile detention. A woman, who identified herself as a friend of Wood, said on Facebook that the two got into a confrontation over the teen’s use of racial slurs. The Murray Police Department declined to comment on that report.
