SALT LAKE CITY (KUTV-TV) — Police in Utah are searching for a driver who fled after striking a 9-year-old boy who was walking on a sidewalk in Payson. The boy was taken to a hospital Wednesday afternoon in serious condition. A photograph of the boy published by the television station shows him in a neck brace with cuts and bruises across his face and head. Police said witnesses described the truck that hit the boy as a four-door Chevrolet pickup with a  decal on the driver and passenger doors.
