(Salt Lake City, UT) — Former Vice President Mike Pence is refusing to say whether he plans to run for President next year. Pence was in Salt Lake City on Friday to have lunch with politicians and other community leaders at an event hosted by former Utah Governor Gary Herbert. Herbert asked Pence several times if he planned to run for the White House, but Pence avoided a direct answer to the question. He did criticize President Biden’s policies on crime, immigration and energy and predicted that there would be a “great American comeback” around the time of the next presidential election.
