(Salt Lake City, UT) — The number of pedestrians and bicyclists killed by Utah drivers are reaching a record high. The Department of Public Safety said as of Monday, drivers have killed 52 pedestrians and 15 bicyclists. That’s the highest number since 1994. There has been over 960 pedestrians hit this year in total. That’s the highest the department has seen since 2016.
