(Orem, UT) — The Orem Police Department says it is serious about providing safe rides for intoxicated drivers during the holiday weekend.

The department posted a message on Facebook yesterday saying it will have its “party wagon” giving rides to those without a designated driver this Saturday and Sunday nights.

There is no charge, though those who call for a ride will be asked to pose for a selfie with officers that could be posted on social media.

The service will be available from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. both nights.
