Opposing groups protest in Provo following shooting

PROVO, Utah (AP) — Protesters from two opposing groups gathered in Provo on Wednesday after an SUV driver was shot while driving through protesters earlier in the week. A video of the incident captured by KSL-TV shows a man fire a shot at the driver as the car began slowly accelerating through protesters. Police say two people were arrested. That led to the protest and counter-protest on Wednesday. Up to 300 people participated in the protests, with about two-thirds of the group saying they support racial equity and Black Lives Matter.
