(San Juan County, UT) — The only candidate running for an office in a southeastern Utah county is withdrawing after being selected to become a judge. San Juan County attorney candidate Alex Goble announced yesterday that he would withdraw from the race after Governor Cox picked him to become a juvenile court judge. Interim County Attorney Brittney Ivins announced yesterday that she will run a write-in campaign for the position. Ivins was appointed to the interim position in May following the resignation of County Attorney Kendall Laws.
