Around 7:30 a.m. on Jun. 25, Sevier County deputies and EMT’s were dispatched to a two vehicle crash in Redmond. According to Sevier County Sheriff Nathan Curtis, a Saturn passenger car had ran a stop sign and slammed into a GMC truck, causing the truck to go through a yard at 100 N 100 W. The driver of the truck was injured and remained at the scene while the driver of the Saturn fled on foot. A short time later witnesses reported seeing the driver who fled on foot get picked up by another vehicle. The subject, Kymberlee Oden age 25 of Richfield, denied being in an accident despite having injuries consistent with being in a traffic accident. Kymberlee was taken to the hospital to be treated for her injuries and was later booked into the Sevier County Jail on charges of leaving the scene of an accident resulting in an injury, stop sign violation, no valid drivers license, no registration, and no insurance.
