Around 9:30 a.m. on May 21, a Garkane Energy Cooperative employee made contact with an energized power line equipment within Todd’s Substation near Todd’s Junction. According to a press release from Garkane Energy, “the employee was conscious and speaking to responders and was flown by helicopter to the UMC burn center in Las Vegas.” This is a developing story and more information will be added when it becomes available.
