One dead, one critically injured after rollover in Fairview

A woman is dead and another person is in critical condition after a rollover crash on U.S. Highway 89 south of Fairview on Monday evening.

A Chevy Suburban was driving southbound when it hit a deer causing the vehicle to run off the road and roll.

Neither of the people in the vehicle where wearing their seatbelt at the time of the crash and they were both ejected form the vehicle.

They were both taken to a hospital via medical helicopter where Evelyn D. Morris, age 38 from Fairview, later died from her injuries, according to Utah Highway Patrol Sgt. Nick Street.

Robert Morris remains in the hospital in critical condition.
