One women is dead and one man is in critical condition following an ATV accident outside of Richfield on Wednesday.

According to Sevier County Sheriff Nate Curtis, 37 year-old Aurora Day died at the hospital. She was not driving the ATV and had not reported any series medical complaints at the scene.

The driver, 57 year-old Kenny Shaw was lifeflighted in critical condition to a hospital along the Wasatch Front from the Sevier Valley Hospital.

The two were on an ATV trail and rolled off an embankment. Neither were wearing helmets according to the Sheriff Curtis.
