Olympic Committee Considering Host Rotation

(Salt Lake City, UT) — Salt Lake City’s chances of hosting the Olympics is looking better than ever. The International Olympic Committee is considering selecting a rotation of hosts for the Winter Games as climate change continues to limit their options. If selected, Salt Lake City would be due to hold the Games every 20 to 30 years. The IOC won’t announce hosts for 2030 until it fully weighs the rotation approach.
