Officials are warning of a scam currently targeting residents in Sevier County. According to reports, several individuals have received notices saying they owe $98 to the Sevier County Recorder’s office in recording fees, however the return address is in Norco, California. It appears this scam is targeting older individuals, especially if they are setting up a trust.
