Officials Offer Warnings After Rescues At Zion, Mount Olympus

(Undated) — First responders are warning hikers and climbers after two people were rescued at different locations in Utah. A hiker was helped from Mount Olympus by Salt Lake County Search and Rescue crews late Saturday night after injuring her ankle and knee. A climber was rescued from Kolob Canyon in Zion National Park yesterday after falling and being injured. In both cases, search and rescue officials urged hikers and climbers to prepare for possibly hazardous conditions and to carry emergency supplies in case they are stranded overnight.
