Nonprofit Urges Governor To Veto Year-Round Cougar Hunting Bill

(Salt Lake City, UT) — A wildlife protection organization is urging Governor Spencer Cox to veto a bill that would open the door to cougar hunting year-round in Utah. The nonprofit Western Wildlife Conservancy and other wildlife conservation groups are calling on Cox to veto the bill. If Cox signs the measure, the new law would take effect on May 3rd.
