An early morning power outage in Sevier County Wednesday morning was the result of a driver in Sigurd driving into a power pole.

Utah Highway Patrol reports 38-year-old Michael Allen received no injuries from the crash. The cause is still under investigation.

Over 7,000 Rocky Mountain Power customers were without power for several hours after the crash around 7:40 a.m.
