(Salt Lake City, UT) – Most people move to Utah because of family or due to economic reasons. That’s the finding of a new Envision Utah study released yesterday during a meeting of the Point of the Mountain Development Commission. Using online and in-person feedback, Envision Utah found that 80-percent of people move to the state because they have family here. About 65-percent move here for the lower cost of living or to find a new job. About 70-percent say they might move away because of poor air quality, while 50-percent say Utah salaries are too low.Â
