(St. George, UT) — A Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints’ leader says Utahns “will find joy in your service” at a new temple. Thousands gathered Sunday for the dedication of the Red Cliffs Utah Temple in St. George, where President Henry Eyring spoke during two of the services. Eyring explained how his great-grandfather “was one of the pioneers of the St. George area” and how happy he would be to see another temple built in the city. It’s been nearly four years since workers first broke ground on the new temple, which is the second in St. George.
