(Salt Lake City, UT) — Lieutenant Governor Deidre Henderson’s office has released a report finding that Cache County allegedly mismanaged the 2023 municipal election. The review found no evidence of fraud and no evidence to question the result of the election. Still, there were 31 issues listed in the report about how the election was conducted, including falsifying a legally required logic and accuracy test on election equipment. An action plan from the county on how the problems will be resolved is due in writing before the 20th by the Cache County Clerk and Auditor David Benson.
