A new young lady was chosen to represent Fairview City at the Miss Fairview pageant held last Saturday at the Peterson Dance Hall. Kelsie Nielson, the daughter of Mike and Debbie Nielson, was crowned queen, with Ireland Rawlinson first attendant and Nicole Day second attendant.

Kelsie follows in the steps of her three older sisters who also served as Miss Fairview beginning with Kylie in 2008, followed by Kassie in 2009 and Kaytie in 2012. Nielson’s platform is “H2O, let’s go: the importance of staying hydrated.” The pageant, with the theme “Masterpiece,” was emceed by Shayne Thompson and outgoing Miss Fairview Lydia Madsen.
